Rabbits can overheat very quickly so you need to be able to know what the weather is going to be and keep the rabbits in a location that will not get too hot over the summer. You will need to make sure that they have plenty of water to get them through the day especially on the warmer days. There are many websites out there that have some good bunny basics information like rabbit.org where you can find information on what the best diet is going to be for the rabbits and a lot of information on rabbit behavior. Rabbits are a lot of work and really should have human contact every day for at least an hour. We had an indoor rabbit and when I would come home from work I would open up her cage so she could go exploring if she wanted to. It is a good thing that you are going to watch the rabbits, just do some research and try to figure out your own plan for how you are going to spend time with them, brush them, feed them and take care of them.
