Those of you who put your children in daycare???

My daughter has just started day care about 3 weeks ago and she has been sick on and off since starting, she has had colds, conjunctivitis (pink eye) and a tummy bug (she is also teething so i am thinking the cold could have been teething too). Everyone keeps telling me this happens when you forst send them to day care and eventually she will build an immunity to it but my poor little princess has just had enough i feel so sorry for her and am considering quitting work and pulling her out (we would struggle BIG time). Did this happen to your children and did they eventually get used to it?????
