In the event of an anti-government uprising in the USA?

What rifle and sidearm would be best to have? I've got a Bowie I could use as a hand-to-hand weapon, but I'm unsure as to which firearms would be best. I'm thinking something along the lines of the Springfield Armory M1A for a rifle, and a Springfield 1911 for a sidearm, but I wanted input from you guys. I'm sorry if this bothers anyone under this category, but I just couldn't find any category that was titled "violent overthrow of federal government" lol.
