Any way to speed up Windows Media Player with my Xbox 360?
I set up Windows Media Player to stream wirelessly to my xbox 360. My connection test shows lowest bar for HDTV but fine for standard TV. That's OK, because all I really want to do is play my MP3s and listen to the radio. But it is incredibly slow, and I mean by every standard. Even navigating the menu system Using my xbox controller is painfully slow. My PC has 2 gig ram and a dual core processor so its no slouch, and I'm not running anything concurrently. Oh the promise of geek nirvana is so close, because this will enable me to hook into my surround sound system. Is it my firewall setting or some other problem? I can't be the only one experiencing this. Does WMP just promise more than it can deliver? Any ideas? If more info is needed let me know and I'll expand. Thanks!
