I had wmp 11, it froze, so I rolled back to wmp 10 ,now I'm having problems?

I don't get the pictures of the cds for the songs and I'm having a hard time putting songs on my mp3. I want wmp11 back, I tried re downloading it a few times it gave me the same frozen thing, so I keep removing it and rolling back to wmp10, when I'm on wmp10, I get the pop up to upgrade to wmp11, I accept, then it says it is already running. I'm tempted to download regCure cause Ive been trying to find answers and some websites say to download these free software's that will fix the wmp problems. but I have Mcfee and cleaned my computer with it, isn't that the same, I don't want to download stuff I don't need especially with the risk of viruses. this is my first time asking a question please can someone help.
